2024 JAGUAR HONORS: Sunday May 5th, 2024 5pm
Dear Jaguar Family,
It is hard to believe another CYO sports season is drawing to a close! And what a successful year it has been! We have seen an amazing increase in overall CYO participation across the sports this year and our athletes and coaches deserve to be celebrated. For many years before the Pandemic, we'd end the year with a Sports Banquet in the cafeteria. Because we have grown much larger than pre-pandemic numbers, we had to come up with a new event that made sense both logistically and financially. I am happy to invite everyone to the first annual JAGUAR HONORS on Sunday May 5th from 5pm-8pm in the SJA gym.
Location: St Jerome Gym
Social Hour: The event will begin with a social hour from 5pm-5:45pm with light food and drinks available. Food will be from Three Brothers and will be more along the line of appetizers (think Happy Hour without the alcohol). At 6pm, the awards will begin.
Awards: At 6pm we will begin recognizing teams and players. Each player will receive a medal for each sport they participated in during the Fall and Winter seasons. Each coach will also present individual plaques to players who excelled in certain athletic areas.
Special Awards: The program will also be presenting several special awards including: Coach of the Year, Male and Female Athlete of the Year, and Parent Volunteer of the Year
Special Recognition of Nick Cross, Class of 2015: We are excited to welcome back Nick Cross from the class of 2015 who is about to start his 3rd season with the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL. We will unveil his framed jersey that will hang in our gym lobby. He will be available for pictures and autographs as well...so bring your footballs and sharpies!
Dress Code: We want to make it a sharp event....so "Business to Business Casual" is preferred.
