Turkey Shootout Volunteer Form

The Dick Brown Memorial Turkey Shootout basketball tournament is held each year on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday immediately following Thanksgiving.  It takes place at two different locations...DeMatha HS, and St Jerome's Gym.  Over 42 teams will compete during the tournament.  It is the largest fundraiser for our CYO.  It helps us keep registration fees low and has allowed us to rent soccer fields and improve our own gymnasium.  

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!  In order to be successful, we need volunteers.  The work you do can go toward your service hours for St. Jeromes!  Below is a list of jobs that we need help with:

• Entry fee workers.  This group will take the entry fees and affix wrist bands to spectators
• Concession stand workers.  This group will work the kitchen at SJA's gym
• Evening clean-up.  This team will be available at the end of the evening to help clean up the various location
• Scorekeepers.  This team will score the games at DeMatha and SJA.  Must have prior experience scoring a Basketball game.  

Tournament Schedule:

• Friday November 28th  9am-8pm
• Saturday November 29th  9am-8pm
• Sunday November 30th  11am-8pm
