2025 JAGUAR HONORS: Sunday June 1st, 2025 5pm
Dear Jaguar Family,
It is hard to believe another CYO sports season is drawing to a close! And what a successful year it has been! We have seen an amazing increase in overall CYO participation across the sports this year and our athletes and coaches deserve to be celebrated. For many years before the Pandemic, we'd end the year with a Sports Banquet in the cafeteria. Because we have grown much larger than pre-pandemic numbers, we had to come up with a new event that made sense both logistically and financially. I am happy to invite everyone to the second annual JAGUAR HONORS on Sunday June 1st, from 5pm-8pm in the SJA gym.
SPECIAL NOTE: This awards event is for CYO athletes that participated in sports at the 10u level and UP during the 2024-2025 school year. It does not include coed soccer or coed basketball.
Location: St Jerome Gym
Cost: This event is free!!!
Social Hour: The event will begin with a social hour from 5pm-5:45pm with light food and drinks available. Food will be from Three Brothers and will be more along the line of appetizers (think Happy Hour without the alcohol). At 6pm, the awards will begin.
Awards: At 6pm we will begin recognizing teams and players. Each player will receive a medal for each sport they participated in during the Fall and Winter seasons. Each coach will also present individual plaques to players who excelled in certain athletic areas.
Special Awards: The program will also be presenting several special awards including: Coach of the Year, Male and Female Athlete of the Year, and Parent Volunteer of the Year
Special Recognition of Jeff Dowtin Jr, Class of 2012: We are excited to welcome back Jeff Dowtin Jr. from the class of 2012 who just wrapped up a season playing with the Philadelphia 76ers, his 3rd season in the NBA. We will unveil his framed jersey that will hang in our gym lobby. He will be available for pictures and autographs as well...so bring your basketballs and sharpies!
Dress Code: We want to make it a sharp event....so "Business to Business Casual" is preferred.
